After obtaining the building permit, the client engaged AI DESIGN studio to enhance the visual appeal and character of the Sky Barrandov project. The architects were tasked with reimagining the design while maintaining the approved building volumes, focusing on creating a more striking and contemporary aesthetic.

All the facades were redesigned using modern materials, introducing a fresh and dynamic appearance. Given the site’s location on the side of a hill, every floor offers stunning panoramic views of Prague. To maximize this advantage, continuous rippled balconies were incorporated on each level, providing not only spectacular views but also softening the overall mass of the buildings. These balconies add a sense of movement to the structure and have become a defining feature of the complex, giving it a unique architectural identity.

The Sky Barrandov residential complex consists of two separate apartment buildings and an amenities building. Together, they accommodate 108 apartments, complemented by parking and support facilities located in the basement. The thoughtful redesign ensures that the buildings blend seamlessly into their natural surroundings while also standing out as a modern architectural landmark.
