Our design aimed to give visitors the opportunity to see the artist's work through new eyes. To walk through Mucha's rich life with him, to see how he developed, grew, and aged, to understand and share his joys, hopes, and sorrows, and to observe the reflection of his life in his work, while also realizing how relevant his views and patriotism are today. Each chapter is, for example, themed according to the range of colors and brushstrokes that Mucha preferred during that particular stage of his life.

Given that the family collection contains over four thousand artworks, making it the largest collection of Mucha’s work in the world, it was necessary to select key pieces that best represent the different stages of his life.
