Apartment Building Klimentská

Klimentská Apartment is a project that introduces a new approach to residential development, emphasizing the preservation of natural elements and respect for the historical and urban context. The building adapts to the unique presence of a protected tree – a mature plane tree – located at the corner of the site. This tree serves not only as the dominant feature of the project but also as inspiration for the building’s organic and dynamic shapes. The design "embraces" the tree, creating harmony between nature and architecture.

The facade facing Klimentská Street features classic window openings and is clad in TECU Gold, a copper-aluminum alloy that develops an elegant matte finish over time. The southern facade combines perforated materials serving as railings and shading elements. The glazed facades facing the plane tree and the courtyard have more dynamic contours, forming terraces for individual apartments. These terraces provide ample light and views of the surroundings, emphasizing the building’s sustainable design and integration with the local ecosystem. The building offers eight high-standard residential units, including a duplex apartment with a private garden. The apartments are designed to maximize comfort and optimize the use of light and space.

Klimentská Apartment represents a thoughtful balance of modern architecture, natural preservation, and high-quality living, seamlessly blending urban living with respect for its natural and historical context.
